pulse --about

Pulse is a small native macOS menu bar app. It shows CPU, memory, and how much of your Claude, Codex, Copilot, Gemini or API allowance is left.

About 1% of one CPU core while closed. No account, no dependencies. Everything stays on your Mac.

pulse --requirements

git clone https://github.com/123-Cheese-Online-LLC/pulse && cd pulse && ./scripts/install.sh
  1. Checks your Mac and builds Pulse on it, so macOS doesn't block it.
  2. Installs Pulse to ~/Applications and opens it.
  3. Asks to connect Claude for exact limits (optional).
  4. Asks to add Pulse to Claude Code's status line (optional, default no).
